Day 5 & 6 - Opening Ceremonies and Game 1

Day 5 - Opening Ceremonies had an amazing atmosphere.  Bands were playing, the team was very excited.....afterwards we had a beautiful barbque at Joe's parents house.  Joe's parents and brother & sister-in-law cooked an amazing meal with some local dishes, one included rice made with chickens blood. The boys enjoyed Vova & Vovo's beautiful home where they once again picked fresh oranges, lemons and peaches and played hide and go seek on the beautiful farm property just below the mountains.

Today began with an early start for the boys to prepare for the game.  The other team was called Paco ????? they were very big 13 year olds and they won the game with a score of 3-1.  Our boys played well with so much heart!!! They had even scored another goal but it was called offside.  The goal that counted was scored by Robert Tamale, we were all cheering and so happy to see them play! At the end of each game there are penalty kicks and we tied the team with Evan making some great saves. Now for the photos....Enjoy
