Day 4 - FC Porto Stadium, Royal Oporto Winery, and a monster mall- no shoes!

Today we began with an early morning start which was difficult as we seem to be having very late evenings and  remain on Canadian time.  Our van entourage (3)  made our way to the Porto stadium where most of the boys seemed to have purchased some type of soccer shoe.  The stadium tour was excellent and the boys especially enjoyed the press box and pretending that they were soccer superstars.  After the stadium, we made our way to the winery, the very oldest winery in the region.  The oldest barrell of port was from 1867, and we all enjoyed a glass.  After the winery was shopping for a few hours, where not a shoe was to be purchased from the moms!!!  Dinner was at a beautiful restaurant called - Casa Real.  All of our meals have been homestlye and so delicious.  Tomorrow is a free day for all where we are planning to sleep in and enjoy Portugal Day!  The opening ceremonies for the tournament begin tomorrow at 2- the boys are all excited to go to the stadium.  Temperatures are still cool each day- tomorrow we hope to shed the jackets and sweaters! Somehow the Canadian cooler temps have followed us to Portugal.......
